Logistics comes full circle — bulk packaging in our 4 liter totes means less transportation and emissions used per ML. In the grand scheme of things, reuse of these totes beats recycling through and through (which isn’t always the best infrastructure set up here in Cambodia). It also allows Moonshine to get products to bars faster. The SmartPour ecoTotes also allows you to refill your bottles fast and account for every drop of liquid in your inventory. This technology allows you to predict and forecast purchases, once your tote is almost empty, call our sales team and deliver is next day.
Reforestation mission — As part of ecoSpirits’ FOREST PROGRAM, 1 native tree is planted for every tote that is used up with our Partners. ie, Rosewood since it’s adoption of eS has planted over 500 trees in the major rainforests of South East Asia. (see below via our trackable technology that accounts for every tote ordered in Cambodia to eS’ collaboration with Green Steps Group to execute the replanting.) This also means quality employment for local villages with this operation.
Quality spirits with realistic pricing models — cutting out the costs of glass bottles (which typically constitutes 70% of the price of what you’re paying), means a better margins for a price-sensitive F&B economy such as Cambodia. In our experience as importers, there is sporadic price fluctuations dependent on transportation/shipping costs. At Moonshine, we aim to keep these costs as constant and low as we possibly can so that business owners can allocate cash flow where needed. Currently in Moonshine’s ecoSpirits system for Cambodia — we have Widges Gin, Samai Rum, Mawsim Gin, Tried & True Vodka, Los Arcos tequila, Plantation Rums, and La Travesia mezcal.
