Our love for quality spirits and storytelling started with Liz’s background in digital branding for startups in New York & Stephen’s filmmaking career in Hollywood. It’s in our DNA to build relationships and cultivate an identity within our community of F&B trend setters beyond just liquor.

The journey started out a frustration to source tequila and niche spirits during Covid-19 lockdown that began the imports. We saw a need more than ever for distributors to encourage a philosophy of innovation, heritage and craftsmanship into their offerings for a more wholesome drinking experience.

Our mission and integrity lies in our of love of unexplored palates, conscious supply chains, relentless people forward goals, and attuning to market demands. We thank you for being a part of this journey with us.

MEET THE FOUNDERS


With 20 years experience in the F&B industry in Los Angeles and New York — a partner in a hotel in Palm Springs and co-owning a vintage arcade lounge & Phnom Penh’s Prei Speakeasy with Liz — and decades long in filmmaking in Hollywood, harnessing creative direction and out-of-the-box sales strategies has been a natural progression. A New York native at heart, the fast grit is in Stephen’s blood.

When he’s not rallying the sales team, you find him tinkering with his camera parts, reliving his D1 volleyball glory days, or cuddling up with the dogs watching Friends.

Growing up in Phnom Penh and then moving to New York for college, Liz comes from a background in tech & digital marketing at both the start up and corporate level with companies such as Nasty Gal (Los Angeles), Saks Fifth Avenue, and Gilt Groupe NYC. The bittersweet dopamine hit of launching businesses that fills gaps, solves problems longterm, and create wholesome opportunities for young Cambodians makes the grind all worthwhile.

Outside the office, you can find Liz spoiling her Pitbulls, looking for a new rustic destination, or dog-earring Haruki Murakami novels.

RAKSMEY

Our first ever hire! Raksmey has seen the grassroots of Moonshine when having to wear multiple hats was crucial. Coming from a background in finance, she is backbone of our logistics and account management. Raksmey has a daughter and another daughter on the way (she is also our first ever employee to go on Maternity leave ❤︎)!


BRAND MANAGER —

RYAN

Having a passion for cocktails and gaining experience working as bartender in Singapore, Ryan decided to move back to Cambodia where his roots are. Chances are you’re drinking one of his menus around PP!

His intention is to share his knowledge and experience to contribute to the growth of the cocktail bar scene in Cambodia.


LOGISTICS ASSISTANT —

MO

Mo started out as our delivery coordinator and worked his way to our logistics assistant, managing our ecoSpirits and spirits deliveries so that our clients can get their products in time. Fun fact: Mo’s birthday falls right on New Year’s Eve!

Mo is our ultimate multitasker — and office hypeman!

Chettra

Chettra was our first ever hire for our wing in Siem Reap. She has been spearheading our Siem Reap account management and recently helped us open our brand new office in the heart of Siem Reap town. Come say hi to Chettra and the team if you’re in SR. Chettra is currently a soon-to-be mom!
