Into the Wild
Shitna Mani hosts True Believers experience "Into the Wild" with Moonshine Asia —
A thank you to our community with Shinta Mani x True Believers.
In March of 2023, Moonshine spirits and brand partner True Believers (Los Arcos, Tried and True, Widges Gin, and La Travesia) organized a community excursion to the famous Shinta Mani Wild.
After months of planning, the Moonshine Team hand delivered 15 custom invitations to bartenders around Phnom Penh, which included a key chain and branded throw blanket. The keychain would unlock a two day team building trip!
The mission was to combine spirits education with adventurous activities to build a stronger relationship with our bar community and for the community to gain a better perspective on the importance of quality liquid in cocktails and bar sustainability.
“Alone we can do so little, together we can do so much”
We started off by hiking through the Cardamon National Park met by a zip-line that would take us into the Shinta Mani Wild welcome lounge. Following, our group sipped the perfect Los Arcos Margaritas, as the Moonshine team gave a warm welcome to our industry friends.
In the evening, the group sipped La Travesia under the stars around a beautiful bonfire while Luke explained the importance of aged agave, and we all shared stories about our experience in the industry. In addition, David Stein taught us about the inception of Shinta Mani Wild
In that same night, we had an amazing meal prepared by Chef Bernard Hartzenberg centered around ingredients found in the immediate area. We paired this with perfectly balanced Widges Gin G&Ts.
Finally, In the morning, we took a riverboat out onto the Srey Ambel Estuary and drank Tried and True Vodka from fresh coconuts. At the conclusion, we played industry trivia, and gave away fun merchandise.
This TRUE-ly was a WILD Ride and an experience we will always remember here at Moonshine Spritis. A special thanks to Dan Walker and Luke from True Believer, and David Stein and the entire Shinta Mani Wild team.
